Advanced Score Combo – Bare Acts without Comments for All India Bar Examination (AIBE-XXI) | 2026 Edition is a comprehensive, hall-compatible collection of 21 bare acts—reproducing over 40 Central statutes in their exact enacted form without commentary—curated for the open-book format of the All India Bar Examination.
It corresponds with the official subject-wise weightage notified by the Bar Council of India for AIBE-XXI (Notification dated 02.03.2026) and is intentionally designed to cover approximately 89 out of 100 marks of the paper across 14 of the 19 syllabus topics.
The Advanced Score Combo includes the entire Essentials Score Combo (18 titles, ~75 marks) as its foundation, and extends coverage through consolidated Single Book compilations on Environment Laws (9 statutes), Cyber Laws (2 statutes including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), Labour & Industrial Laws (10 statutes), and a combined Arrangement of Sections volume for the Income-tax Act 1961, Companies Act 2013, and CGST Act 2017.
This expansion adds 14 marks to the Essentials base. The Advanced Score Combo is intended for candidates seeking a compact, cost-effective alternative to purchasing the entire prescribed list.
This Combo is intended for the following audience:
- AIBE-XXI Aspirants (June 7, 2026) seeking broader coverage than the Essentials Combo without the cost and bulk of the full prescribed list—candidates aiming to maximise their answerable question pool and reduce pressure on exam day
- Serious Candidates aiming comfortably above the passing threshold, with assurance that only 11 marks of the paper (across 5 niche subjects) fall outside their reference material
- Candidates with Experience in Environmental, Cyber, Labour, Company, or Tax Law—whether through practice, academic background, or coaching—who can use these titles for quick reference on questions they might otherwise skip
- Repeat Candidates re-taking the exam who want to close coverage gaps from earlier attempts, with an updated 2026 edition aligned to the current syllabus notification
- Junior Practitioners And Law Students needing a comprehensive statutory desk set covering criminal, civil, commercial, personal, regulatory, and sectoral legislation for court referencing, coursework, and practice
The Present Publication is the 2026 Edition, edited and compiled by Taxmann's Editorial Board, with the following noteworthy features:
- AIBE-Compliant – Each volume contains only the enacted statutory text as notified by Parliament—no commentary, annotations, case digests, or editorial opinions. Strictly adheres to the BCI Examination Guidelines, which prohibit notes and comments inside the examination hall
- Broad Syllabus Coverage at ~89 Marks – The 21 volumes are mapped to the subject-wise weightage notified for AIBE-XXI, covering 14 out of 19 syllabus heads. Only 5 subjects, carrying a combined 11 marks (Public Interest Litigation, Administration Law, Land Acquisition, Intellectual Property Laws), fall outside this set. This breadth reduces the required accuracy rate for passing from ~60% (with 75-mark coverage) to ~51% (with 89-mark coverage)
- Complete Essentials Base & Targeted Expansion – The Advanced Combo includes the entire Essentials Score Combo (18 titles, 75 marks) as its core, ensuring no gaps in the highest-weightage subjects. The 4 additional volumes extend into regulatory, sectoral, and tax/corporate areas using consolidated Single Book compilations that bundle multiple statutes into single volumes—delivering depth without proportional increase in physical bulk
- New & Legacy Criminal Codes – The AIBE-XXI syllabus expressly pairs the new criminal codes with the legacy statutes—‘I.P.C. & (New) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita’, ‘Cr.P.C. & (New) Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita’, and ‘Evidence Act & (New) Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam’. All six titles are included, enabling candidates to handle questions under either regime or requiring comparative application
- Single Book Compilations for Depth – Three of the four incremental volumes are consolidated Single Book compilations—Environment Laws (9 statutes), Cyber Laws (2 statutes, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), and Labour & Industrial Laws (10 statutes). Each Single Book brings together the full suite of statutes relevant to its AIBE syllabus head in a single volume, providing broader statutory access than standalone bare acts of individual enactments
- Updated & Authoritative – Every title reproduces the exact statutory language as notified, with all amendments integrated up to 2026. Legislative change indicators—insertions, substitutions, and omissions—are noted with relevant details to aid quick orientation, without editorial interpretation
- Uniform Navigation Architecture – All 21 bare acts follow a consistent structural design: article/section-wise sequencing, official headings, chapter divisions, detailed tables of contents, marginal notes, and Schedules reproduced in full. This uniformity allows candidates to apply the same navigation instincts across every volume in the set
- Compact & Cost-Effective – A consolidated bundle priced significantly below the sum of individual purchases. The Single Book compilations replace what would otherwise require dozens of standalone bare acts, making the set physically manageable for examination-day carriage while covering 89% of the paper
- Complementary Availability – Each title is also available individually. Candidates who wish to close the remaining 11-mark gap can purchase the Administrative Tribunals Act, RFCTLARR Act (Land Acquisition), and IP Laws compilation separately

The structure of the Essentials Score Combo is as follows:
- Pure Statutory Text – No commentary, case law, editorial notes, headnotes, or interpretive material in any volume. Each page contains only the enacted law as notified by the Government, strictly the permissible content under the AIBE Examination Guidelines
- Uniform Architecture – The Constitution is presented part-wise and article-wise, with schedules. All codes and acts follow chapter-wise, section-wise sequencing in statutory order, maintaining official numbering and headings. Single-book compilations present each constituent statute independently within the volume, with its own chapter/section structure and table of contents
- Schedules, Forms & Appendices – Reproduced in full where applicable—the Constitution’s twelve schedules, the CPC’s 51 orders and appendices, the Arbitration Act’s fee tables and disclosure formats, the BCI’s prescribed forms, the BSA’s electronic record certificate format, environmental law schedules, and all other statutory annexures without abridgement
- Navigation & Readability – Features a clear hierarchy of headings, consistent font, generous white space, detailed tables of contents with page references, and marginal notes for quick navigation across all 21 volumes. Designed for easy reference during a 3.5-hour examination
- Legislative Change Indicators – Where relevant, provisions inserted, substituted, or omitted by amendment acts or notifications are marked with effective dates—maintaining legislative history awareness without editorial bias
- Cross-reference Notes – Several titles include cross-references between corresponding provisions of new and older statutes (e.g., BSA linked to the repealed Evidence Act 1872; BNSS references in personal law statutes), aiding transitional and comparative reading
- Arrangement of Sections Format – The Income-tax Act/Companies Act/GST volume uses an index-only format—section headings and numbering without full text—allowing quick identification of provisions during the examination. This format is notably different from the full-text bare acts found in the rest of the set
