AIBE Combo Pack: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 & Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023

This Students Edition for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE XXII) brings together the three new criminal law enactments introduced to replace the earlier Indian criminal law framework: the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. This 2027 edition is designed as an examination-oriented set for AIBE aspirants and provides the bare statutory texts of the three enactments without notes or commentary, making it convenient for examination preparation and quick legal reference.

The set contains:

• The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (No. 46 of 2023, dated 25-12-2023), replacing the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
• The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (No. 45 of 2023, dated 25-12-2023), replacing the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
• The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (No. 47 of 2023, dated 25-12-2023), replacing the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
• Provisions effective from 1-7-2024.
• Comparative tables connecting the new enactments with the corresponding provisions of the former CrPC, IPC, and Indian Evidence Act.
• Special provisions and amendments highlighted in the respective Bare Acts.
• Bare Act texts without notes, providing direct access to the statutory provisions.

The three enactments collectively cover the principal areas of modern Indian criminal law:

• Substantive criminal offences: Punishments, general exceptions, abetment, conspiracy, attempt, offences against the human body, property, women and children, the State, and public order under the BNS.
• Criminal procedure: Arrest, investigation, search and seizure, bail, charges, trials, appeals, revisions, sentencing, and other criminal proceedings under the BNSS.
• Rules of evidence: Relevancy of facts, admissions, confessions, documentary and oral evidence, electronic and digital records, burden of proof, presumptions, examination of witnesses, and related evidentiary principles under the BSA.

This AIBE XXII set is particularly suitable for:

• AIBE aspirants seeking the principal new criminal law Bare Acts.
• Law students studying the three new criminal law enactments.
• Advocates and legal professionals requiring quick access to the current statutory framework.
• Academicians and researchers comparing the new laws with the repealed IPC, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act.
• Candidates requiring a compact and examination-focused reference set for criminal law, criminal procedure, and evidence law.

By combining the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 in one AIBE-focused set, this edition provides a convenient statutory reference for preparing for the All India Bar Examination and understanding India's current framework of substantive criminal law, criminal procedure, and law of evidence.
